These terms apply when you use placentiaevcharger.com and when you hire Placentia EV Charger to perform work. By reading the site or asking us to quote or install a charger, you are agreeing to what is written here. If something in these terms does not sit right with you, please do not use the site, and tell us before we begin work so we can sort it out. A signed estimate or work authorization for a specific job carries its own details, and where that document and these terms disagree, the signed document controls.

We are a licensed C-10 electrical contractor working in Placentia and the surrounding communities of north Orange County. We install and service EV charging equipment for homes, businesses, and multi-family properties, which covers Level 2 chargers, hardwired units, NEMA 14-50 outlets, the panel and service upgrades that charging sometimes requires, and repairs to equipment that has stopped working. We do not sell products through this website, and nothing on the site can be ordered or paid for online.

The descriptions, sample scopes, and any figures on this website are informational. They are not an offer and not a binding quote, because the real cost of an installation depends on your panel, the length and route of the circuit, the condition of the existing wiring, and what the inspector requires. We give firm pricing after an on-site assessment, and we quote flat rates so you know the number before the work starts. A written estimate is valid for the period stated on it and assumes the conditions we observed during the assessment. If we open a wall or a panel and find something materially different, such as undersized service or damaged wiring, we stop, explain it, and give you a revised price to approve before continuing.

We schedule installations by phone and confirm the appointment window before the day of the work. Finishing on schedule depends on someone over 18 being there to let us in and on the panel, the parking area, and the install location being reachable. If we arrive and cannot get access, or the site is not ready, we may have to reschedule, and repeat trips can affect the price. Please give us as much notice as you reasonably can if you need to cancel or move an appointment. If we have to move your appointment because of weather, a permit delay, or an emergency on another job, we will call you and offer the next available slot.

Most EV charger installations in Placentia require a permit and an inspection by the local building department, and a panel upgrade almost always does. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we pull the permit for your job and meet the inspector. Permit fees are either included in your flat rate or listed separately on the estimate, and we will tell you which applies before you approve the work. Inspection scheduling is controlled by the city and the utility rather than by us, so we cannot promise a specific inspection date. If an inspector asks for a correction to work we performed, we take care of it at no cost to you.

We warrant our own workmanship, which covers the wiring, mounting, terminations, and breaker work we performed. The length of that warranty is stated on your estimate and invoice. The charger itself, and any other equipment we install, is covered by the manufacturer warranty rather than by ours, and we will help you file a claim if a unit fails. Our warranty does not cover damage from misuse, vehicle or equipment faults, power surges, flooding, pests, or work that someone else performed or altered after we left.

To do the job properly we need safe and reasonable access to the work area, the electrical panel, and the meter, along with accurate information about your vehicle, your charger, your property, and anything you already know about the electrical system. Please tell us about conditions we would not see on our own, such as previous unpermitted work, a shared panel, or an HOA rule that limits where equipment can go. If you are not the property owner, you are confirming that you have permission to authorize the work. We are not responsible for delays or added cost that follow from information that turns out to be wrong or incomplete.

We carry the license and insurance required of a C-10 contractor in California, and we stand behind the work we perform. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any claim connected to this website or to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost income, lost vehicle range, rental costs, or damage caused by equipment we did not install. Nothing in this section limits anything that cannot be limited under California law.

The text, photographs, layout, and logo on placentiaevcharger.com belong to us and may not be copied, republished, or used to promote another business. You are welcome to read, print, or share pages for your own use. The site also links to other websites, such as equipment manufacturers, utility rebate programs, and the local building department. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute that cannot be settled by a phone call will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Orange County, California.
